Finding Joy: Day 2: My twin.

The past two weeks have been really rough, and tiring, siblings sick & dad having to work over so much.  It can make a person feel overwhelmed sometimes.  It's been harder to find the brighter side of things, sticking with my hand folded & my eyes closed, praying had helped.    Finding joy in something everyday can be a bit of a challenge during a bad day, but there's one person who made me smile SO much today, writing this post I can't help but to have a grin on my face.  Her name would be Alyssa, my amazing best friend that I just so happen to call my twin.

We talked this afternoon & she always cheers me up!  I feel SO blessed that God has placed her in my life, for no doubt, a very special reason!  She is a very strong, beautiful girl, who can fill me up with joy just talking about the funniest things, that we do.    I can talk to her about every little thing & she always understands.    I just wanted to thank God for putting her in my life!  & Thanks Alyssa for being so truly amazing!  I love you SOOOOO much!! :)

Finding Joy: Day 1.

Starting today I think I will TRY my hardest to write a post on something that brought me joy through out my day.  Well I can honestly say, I find joy in many things through out the day.  And even if I don't post about it, I'm sure I'll find one everyday.

Today I found joy in music, while I was doing dishes (One of my least favorite chores.)  I listened to some Skillet & danced around mouthing the words, like some awesome band rocker.  And yes, if you would have seen me, you, with out a doubt would have fell to the ground laughing at me.   Because I'd sometimes stop & laugh at myself.  (Yes I am a dork, but, hey nothing wrong with that. ;)
Point is it brought me a lot of joy just having fun & breaking free dancing to the sound of worship music. (I know some people don't consider Skillet a "worship" band but, one of the songs I was listening to was from a "WOW Hits" CD.  Which is what made it pretty sweet!  It's the 2012 CD, it's also got some RED in it, not bad. ;) )

I hope you too can start trying to find AT LEAST ONE thing that brings you joy during your day!  Trust me, it will make you feel happier if you do! Count all your many blessings!  Remember JESUS LOVES YOU!!! :D

Finding The Joy In All Things...

Okay so lately I've complained a lot, & mostly bursting out all my feelings onto other people (Sorry people :( )     Things had just been rough the past month or so.  Personally it was SMALL problems for me, such as sickness, car troubles & other things.  (I refuse to complain so I will just stop listing off things, ha ha)   I found myself slowly slipping away from finding joy & happiness.  I was down & out.  Which is okay, cause we've all been there & done that, I do believe. ;)    But, for me, I dislike to complain big time.  I think it's one of the most useless things we do on earth, why whine & complain when we could spread smiles & words of encouragement & joy!   
Finding joy in everything in life is hard, & sometimes seems impossible!   Once you really start to dig for joy & happiness in your life & trials, you'll find it!  Life is beautiful, & you only get one!  So why waste it complaining & pouting about everything?     A way to keep a happy clean mind, is always count your many blessings.  We're all blessed in one way or another.    When I start counting just how many things God had given/blessed me with, I can't help but to feel like the most blessed girl in theworld!  God is so good.   He only does what He does because HE LOVES YOU & me!    And that's the honest truth!   God's love could NEVER fail, not ever, no matter what we do, or how we do it!  He'll always love you, if that alone isn't enough to make you smile, I don't know what will! :)

Sorry this was so short & not very well written, I'm holding my baby brother & trying to type at the same time.  (Not the easiest thing to do, ha ha)

I hope you got a little something out of this, I'll try really hard to start the blessing counting posts again! I've missed writing them.    With school & all I've been busy out of my mind. But, I WILL try to post more often. :)   Thanks SO much for reading!

So, hello everyone! It's me, yeah you probably thought I'd been sucked down into a black hole or something, I've been awful about posting lately. And I am VERY sorry, I've been meaning to post on here forever & I've even made several drafts I'm working on. ( I promise I'll get them up)
Anyways, I heard this song a few months ago or so, I totally loved it & after Addision Road's song "This Little Light of Mine" This as to be my theme song for life when things are tough. I know a lot of people are probably feeling stressed right now, just getting back into the groove of school & no more summer freedom, trust me I feel ya. College students are back to school & so are all the high schoolers & so on. Homework is overwhelming & whatever so it's just..tough? Ha ha, I'm sure we could think of many ways to describe it. I know things can get tough & stressful & sometimes we just feel like pulling our hair out & screaming "What are you thinking, God?!" Admit it, we've all thought it at one time or another. This song is PERFECT for those moments <3 I'll stop talking now so you can listen to this amazing song!

Live Today Like It Was Your Last: What Matters?

Here is my second post on the "Live Today Like It Was Your Last" series.   Today I want to talk about what matters to you in life.   Since we only get one life here on earth.  How can we make the most of what we've got?  I mean, in the world today your life is what people call "good" if you've got the Ipod, IPhone, big house, new car, the newest hair styles & out fits.    All those things are pretty amazing to us!    But, have you ever really thought about where that stuff is going to go when you die?   You won't need any of it anymore.    What I am trying to say is all those things are really great but, in the end, what really matters most?   When your on your last day, is how you look going to matter?  Or what you had?  
Not really, no.    In the end, how you walked and lived for Jesus is what's really going to matter.   How would you feel if you got saved & went to church, did all the Christian things.  But, you never really prayed, except for maybe dinner?    You put all your time & life into things that never really meant anything.    
I just starting thinking about when I turned around almost 15, I realized what was really important to me & what really matters in life, not what I have, or what I want.  But, what I do & how I do it! 
I wanna tell others about Jesus Christ & help anyone I can.  I want to spend more time with my family, while we're all together on earth!   Those things truly really matter to me!   If I died today, I'd would have wanted to spend every moment I could have laughing, talking & just being together as family.   & I would have wanted to have known I did everything I could for Jesus & tried my hardest to share & spread His word to everyone I could!  

So today ask yourself, "If you died today did you do all that really mattered to you?"

Live Today Like It Was Your Last: Remembered

Hi Everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been so busy.  Anyways, good news is I'm back!  :) 

I'm starting a new theme for the next few posts, it's titled "Live Today Like It Was Your Last"
Today's is asking yourself the question "How do I want to be remembered?"   

If your my friend on Facebook the title of this post is often posted as a status of mine.  I know it probably gets old to some people, hearing it over & over again.   I want everyone to realize that the next second isn't promised to be ours.   God could take you home anytime. Which by the way, He already knows exactly when that time is!   It's God people, He knows all!
It's hard for us to even wrap our minds around the thought of all He knows & does.   God had a reason for not telling us when exactly He's going to take us off earth.  My guess is because, we'd all freak out if we really knew just how many days of our lives we had left to live.    At least I know I would. 
I see so many young & full of life people die everyday.  Just watch the News & you'll see.    I always wonder, how they lived they're last few days, hours, minutes, seconds of their lives.   How do people remember them now?    Did they get a chance to tell their loved ones how much they loved them.  Did they treat everyone kind or dirty?    Have you ever really asked yourself those questions?  How are people going to remember you once die?    I've been asked this questions a few times before & then I asked myself, "How do I want people to remember as?"
Well, I would want them to know I was a christian, & I acted the way Christ would want me to, treating others with respect & kindness.  
I know it's so tough to be nice to everyone & say kind things.  I have eight little brothers that can drive me crazy at times, it gets super hard to always say kind, sweet, loving things.  & I mess up, a lot.  We all do.  It's a normal natural human thing.    But, what if someone you loved died & the last thing you ever said to them was something unkind & mean?  I would feel terrible!   We must treat everyone as if it was the last time we'd ever speak to them.  Cause God never promised us the next second.  

I hope this made sense.  It's kind of a tough subject to write about.  Please tell me what you thought & I'll try to get the next post up asap! :)

Prayer Requests?

Hey everyone!  I'm someone who loves to pray, a lot.  Anything that goes wrong I try to turn to God & pray.   I was trying to think of ways I could help out people, in some way.  & the one really good thing I could think of is praying,  I'd love to pray for any of you guys!  I just recently started a "Prayer journal"

Thankful Post: Summer

So I'm writing another thank you post tonight!  I have so many things to be thankful for!   One of the biggest things I'm thankful for is SUMMER TIME, woot woot!   People are complaining about the hot weather, & yes I have to agree, lately it has been very very warm, but, still, I'd take it any day over a blizzard.  That's just the way I am.    Snow is awesome & all but, no I'm not one for the cold...except for a/c..I do love that!     Summer seems to go by WAY too fast!   Public schools here are starting in like two more weeks, I heard.  WOW...it's unbelievable!   

Theres so many great things in the summer, I'm always so happy!   Friends, family, camp, church events..the fun is forever!  

So God, I just wanted to thank you for making this wonderful season summer!!!  I love it SO much!

Most of you probably already know my other blog Saving A Little Life With The Love of Jesus Christ , & it is all about trying to get little children from Reece's Rainbow orphanage, adopted!       For the past few months I've been trying to find little Angela her forever family.  Someone that would love her & give her everything a beautiful little angel like herself deserves!   & after a lot of praying, sharing & donating little sweetie pie Angela is finally on the My Family Found Me, page!   I'm not sure who exactly the family is, yet.  But, they're going to be very blessed to have baby girl, Angela there with them!  I'm so thankful that she's getting adopted, so I just had to write a thank you post to Jesus, cause, thus truly is a BLESSING!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

Be a Cheerleader!

Everyone needs a cheerleader & everyone needs to be a cheerleader.  Now I'm not talking about a cheer leading team or anything like that, I mean your own personal cheerleader. Acheerleader is anyone who is there when you truly need them.    A cheerleader that knows how to find the positive in the negativity of life.  I try so hard to be a cheerleader.  I'm not the best at it, it's hard to see the positive out the negative in life.  A verse that is one of my very favorites is "Encourage one another and build each other up" - 1 Thessalonians 5:11  
It's nice to know that the Bible tells us to encourage one another too.  It reminds me never to give up on encouraging one another, because sometimes, it can be a very easy thing to forget.  Just as easy as saying the negative thing.
Another one of my favorites would be Hebrews 10:24-" Think of ways to encourage one another to outburst of love and good deeds." 
Now wow, "outburst"  that's a pretty good word to use.  I would love to have some outbursts of love & good deeds in my life, how about you?
We should all take some time to stop & think about what are friends & family hear from us.  Are the motivated by love & encouraging things?  Or do they hear you break them down with ugly & hurtful words & actions?   I think I can honestly say I've said both sides before, but, more ugly & hurtful. 
That's not how I want to be though.  I know I can change & be a cheerleader!    We should look for the brightest side of life & always count our many blessings!  God loves us!  He wants us to show others love & kindness from Him through us.

I really really like this song!  I'm not really sure about the artist, Ayiesha Woods.  Although this song does feature Tobymac & if you know him then you know that if he's in a song it's great! :)  This song really has a good point & the beat is perfect.   Tell me what you think about it though comment or rate what you think!  Thanks!!

Shonlock, from what I've heard, he isn't a very big singer.  I'd never heard of him before until a few months ago when I found this song by mistake.  I'm a big fan of this song!  It's really awesome!  "Something in Your Eyes" is his current hit song from his album"Where Never Begins"
He has a new album coming out the end of this month, June.   I hope you like that song! :)

Okay first of all I should probably tell you how to get the songs on my little play list thing on the right hand side bar, off.  If your computer is like mine and you have to let the song load while it's paused just click the little pause button on the bottom of the mp3 player while it is play, if it's loading it'll just skip to the next song if you don't.  Or just click the pause button if it loads fine.  I hope I made at least a little sense telling you that.

Newsong- Love is the Medicine- Perfect song!  The lyrics are so true & have such a great meaning!  I never really cared for Newsong that much until, I saw them at Winter Jam 2011.  They were fantastic!  & have awesome songs!  But, this one has to be my favorite!   It's got just the right beat to it!

Something New.

Hi Everyone!  I am truly so sorry for not posting much at all lately.  I will continue to write my blessings post everyday.  ( I WILL try to post everyday!)  I wanna try something new with my posts.  You've probably heard most or all, of my playlist on the right hand side of my blog.  I hope you like the songs.  They're just a few of my favorites that I listen to.
I know for some teenagers, the reason why they don't listen to christian music is because they think it's all slow, boring & all those old sounding stuff that isn't "cool" to listen to.  & I know that, because I was that way just about two years ago.  Christian music was for old people & was so boring.   I was wrong! 
I discoverd the awesome christian music thats out there! 
So everyday for a week I want to post one song on here to share with you my personal favorites & the most popular Christan pop music!   Sound good? Great!

The best Christian music artists out there right now that I love would have be Newsboys!   I have seen them live before, THEY ARE AMAZING!!  I even got them to sign my t-shirt & cd's!   They're music is great!  I will def be sharing some of they're songs with you through out my Playlist Posts this week!

Another very popular band would be the one & only Skillet.  They're a awesome band & I have a few cds myself. :) 

I love they're music almost as much as I like the Newsboys. 

I would totally recomend them if you like more that rock type music & some not too soft, but, soft music.

Tobymac is a fantastic singer!  I love his voice!  Pretty much every song on his latest album "Tonight" has a point.  I have the album & it's amazing!  You should totally check it out! :) 

There are so many more bands that I'm going to share with you later on!  Please tell me what you think of this blog/post & if theres anything you think I need to change or do better on.  Also I'd like to know if you like the subject I'll be talking about.  If you'd like to ask me anything, I'd be happy to help.

Blessing # 5: My bed.  I'm pretty much half asleep right now.  I worked outside in the yard all day, so I'm pretty tried.  I just wanted to THANK GOD for giving me a bed that I feel safe & sound in!  I have to to get up tomorrow & go to church so I really don't have time to write much more but, I will post another post soon & it will be longer! :)

Blessing 4

I am one day late on this blessing post but, I was busy last night & didn't get a chance to write one. Bright side is you get to read two new ones today!!!..If you even care. (Ha ha)

Blessing #4: Health.  God blessed me so much by letting me be a healthy girl!  & all my family members are healthy as well. I'm not talking about a simple cold type healthy I mean, we were all born alright & are okay as far as health goes now.  I did have SVT & went through a procedure about two weeks ago almost.  Being in the hospital re mined me of just how blessed I am!  Besides when I was born a little ill, I haven't been in a hospital until two weeks ago!  Now that is one big blessing to me! 

Another thing is my mother & father have had 13 kids.  And none of us ever had anything too serious.
God has really blessed me big! 

My heart goes out to the children with Down sydrome.  That's why I created a blog for the beautiful babies who have Down sydrome & other things.  God created them & loves them just as much as
He loves you & me!  He has a wonderful & perfect plan for them! 
The wonderful & caring people who help the amazing little angels get adopted have a great heart & do a great job!  I hope you check out my other BLOG, & follow me & my adventure to helping a pretty little girl, Angela, find her forever family!

Blessing # 3: FOOD -  Food, yes food....junk food that is!   To be honest, I really only eat to live  Because..duh if we didn't eat we couldn't live!   Everything I eat for dinner I almost always dislike.  I do not like hamburger, I've never even eaten a whole hamburger before in my life!  Just because I don't like it.  Now the thinks I do love to eat is something I'm sure you love as well...FAST FOOD & JUNK FOOD!  I love candy, fast food fries & don't even get me started on the ice cream!!  I don't eat it often, but, IT IS WONDERFUL!  All the sweet foods are!  & I think that I am very crazy on making this post based on junk food but, many countries don't have a Wendy's or Subway, all that good stuff.  & could you even imagine NOT ever tasting or smelly the AMAZING CANDY <3 I don't even want to begin to thank of that!  So just to get to the point, I love food, I am blessed to have it & now I am super hungry!   Thanks for reading! ;)

Blessing 2

Blessing # 2: HOME!  I am SO blessed to have a place to live & feel safe in!  I know some people probably think I'm crazy or something.  But, for real a lot of people are homeless right now!  As we speak they're are tons of people in USA alone & MANY more around the world! 

I feel so sorry for all the poor people that have been hit by the awful storms!  I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to one minute have "it all" & the next minute, nothing at all!  With barely any warning!  It's unreal & hard to think about.   Also the people that have no work & no way to make a living for they're family.  My heart truly goes out to them all!

Since I've started counting my blessings by writing daily posts, I am relizing just how much I have!  God has blessed me with so much, I am wondering why I on earth I complain so much!  I mean here I am fussing about not having enough space for my outfits, or how I don't have my own room.  These people don't even have one room to live in!  And come one we've all complained about having to do school at least once in our life!  In other countries girls can't even go to school & some guys can't go either.  So I guess I should be really thankful I can go to school. I am SOOO BLESSED!!!!     Thank you JESUS!!!! 

Blessing 1

God has blessed me with SO many things in so many ways! I could never make put it all in one post so I'm just going to write about one blessing I have everyday.  They won't be in any special order, well this one post is my biggest blessing I am beyond thankful for. 
Blessing # 1: LIFE!  I love life SO much!  But, something that makes my life so great is the people in it!
My family & friends are the best ever!  I have wonderful parents & amazing grandparents!  I have four sisters & eight brothers.  They're really great too! My cousins rock & friends are pretty awesome! 
I am SO thankful for everyday I'm able to wake up & have everyone in my family around me & alive!  Every time I get upset with one of them I try to remind myself that it won't always be the way it is today.  I need to make the most of everyday we have together as a family & friends!  We aren't promised tomorrow. Life is truly a gift from God! 




Have you ever played the game "Life"?  It is one of my favorite games on earth!  I mean it's a lot like the real thing "life" that we live, only when you lose on the game...you can always start over.  That's one BIG thing that we don't get living the real deal.  We only have one shot to make the most of every single day!  Cause you only get one round of life.   We need to live every moment as if it were our last & treat everyone you love like it were the last time you'd see them!  

I know it's hard to do sometimes.  But, God made you for a reason & He wants you to live your one game of life right!  Which would mean, following His way & spreading His word!  

I hope this post made sense to you!  I'm not very good at my writing or spelling.  But, I really hope you got the message! :)

Welcome Everyone!

Hello, I'm Kaitlyn.  15 years old a freshmen in high school.  I am a very strong believer in Jesus Christ! & my life goal is to be labeled as a Jesus Freak.  If you've saw my other blogs you probably already know, I'm baptist.  :)

I feel like God has been calling me to try to reach out to others, & to spread His word around!  Well since I'm only 15, a blog was my best idea!   Just the other day my family & I were doing our bible devotions & it was based on the internet.  After that I started thinking, how blessed I truly am to have it...but, then I thought how it was used for nothing important really.  The internet is an amazing way to talk to people anywhere at anytime pretty much!   I could put it to good use & spread to word of Jesus Christ to anyone anywhere at anytime!  I could help people by sharing what God's taught me through the bible & so many other things in life!  So, I created  this blog.  I'm hoping that it will become something big, but, it's going to take time.  I want to make it a goal, to write one blessing that God has given me everyday on my blog! 

I also want to try my best & hardest to find a brighter side of everyday & everything!
